A mobile scanning van for doctors goes to clinics that do not have this state-of-the-art equipment. The van is equipped with a NewTom 3D digital X-ray scanner. The scanner will scan a person’s head, excluding the brain, in 3D in 20 seconds.
The van is a Sprinter EB (Extended Body). The optional Sprinter “Mega” roof, available only for the EB Sprinter, has a ceiling height of 7′ which accommodates the scanner.
Sportsmobile interior is contemporary to the owner’s specifications. The Sprinter’s rear has a compartment for electrical components and lots of storage space above to the ceiling. The Onan generator is designed to install under the van’s rear.

Interior designed by the owner. Examination chair has multiple positions with a hands-free foot control.
Height adjusts from 18″ to 36″. The adjustable light has extended reach.
Front cab area includes a sink with hot water, slide-out workspace and multifunction printer, scanner and fax.
Sprinter’s full-height rear doors will swing 90 degrees or all way around against van sides for full rear clearance.
This rear lift is made by Braun Heavyduty Commerical Lift. Remotely operated. Side-door lifts also are available.
There’s adequate floor area for maneuvering a wheelchair. Floor is covered with rubberized commercial grade for durability and cleaning ease.
Sprinter’s high profile works well for eye-catching billboard body wrapping.
Preventable Disease Control
The work and consultation station is to the right. A stand-up station is used to run urine and blood tests. Toilet and sink compartment are to the rear.
The City of Austin, Health and Human Services purchased this Sprinter to provide mobile support for the less fortunate. Tests can be run for preventable disease control.
