The owner can order veterinarian equipment for shipment direct to Sportsmobile for installation. Hard-top counter surfaces can be made to whatever sizes and shapes required.
There’s adequate space around the exam table. Two 25-gallon tanks are located under the sink for fresh water and sink water, plus a fast-recovery 6-gallon 110V water heater. Scale slides out at floor level. A small refrigerator/freezer is located below the counter.
The Sprinter’s full-height door creates a comfortable entry. Interior height is 6’2″. A partition and door separates the Sprinter’s cab. Rubberized Loncoin flooring covers the full floor for heavy-duty wear.
The interior is well lighted. Additional track lighting over the sink/exam table was added. Owner can also supply lighting components.
Looking from the Sprinter’s rear shows the left-side cabinets and crates to the right. Bottom crate is 24 x 24 x 48. Two top crates are 24 x 24 x 24.
Overhead cabinet sizes and shelves can vary. Doors can hinge up with concealed hinges or down as shown. Locks can be included. Note the built-in safe.
Left rear cabinet shelves are adjustable. All shelves are covered with trunk liner.
The angled cabinet has four compartments with a 110V outlet in each.
A refrigerator/freezer is located in the left bottom cabinet. Drawers and slide cabinets can be built-in as you desire.
There’s room for e-tanks and other cargo below the crates. For even more storage include an under-van floor compartment with a top hatch door.
Electrical compartment is built into the bottom of the left rear cabinet with easy access. A 30 amp 110V system and a 200 amp 12V system is included with two AGM maintenance-free batteries, plus a 2000 Watt True Sine inverter to convert 12V power to 110V.

PAAC Power Clinic
The long body Sprinter with a high roof, makes an ideal platform for mobile clinics. The eye catching body wrap was contributed by a PAAC fan.
PAAC (Prevention – Outreach – Wellness – Education – Reduce Overpopulation)
it’s a vibrant organization that is constantly learning how to better respond to the huge issue of pet overpopulation. The staff and volunteers are passionate about saving animals and illuminating the need for Animal Control to never have to euthanize healthy, adoptable pets. PAAC has evolved and changed over the last six years but has never lost sight of its goal of promoting responsible pet ownership.
The van’s wide, full height sliding door provides a welcoming, easy entry. The front has a desk and an upper locking compartment for medications. Cab seats have multiple comfort adjustments and will swivel to face the rear. Cab partitions are available with a hinged or sliding door.
Exam area is roomy with a ceiling height 6’3″. The interior is well lighted with LED 12 volt lighting and 110V adjustable track lighting over the exam table. A directional anesthesia machine is wall mounted.
Upper cabinets are at a convenient length. A fresh water tank is built in. Rooftop A/C is powered by a 30kW diesel generator. A 30 Amp power hook up and a 200 amp 12V system is included. The folded up jump seat is for use only when the Sprinter is parked.
The Sprinter rear doors provide convenient access to the large rear cabinets. Clothes rods and shelfs could be added. A marine toilet is located in the left rear and a shower could be included.
In the first quarter of 2016 PAAC performed the following surgeries:

Homeward Bound Mobile Veterinarians
This ’06 RB Sprinter was converted for Dr. Ann Jones of Raleigh, NC, to her design and specifications. The systems include a 3.0KW diesel generator, 12V and 30 amp 110V systems, auxiliary batteries, fresh and grey water, 13,000 BTU roof A/C and two attic fans.
Office space in the rear is also convenient from the van’s rear doors. The desk has a hard surface counter top. Electrical outlets are located above and below the desk.
The examining table has a light that clips to the edge. There are secure tie-downs, outlets and good lighting. The crates are easy to remove and have a center partition that is removable. The fold-up seat includes a seat belt.
The tall rear cabinets include a full-height slide out pantry and a 3E refrigerator. The lower cabinet is for one-gallon containers and other storage.
There’s lots of storage throughout including a large compartment over the van’s cab.
The slide-out scale has a wall control. The flooring is highly durable, easy to clean Lonseal.
